St. Peter's Lutheran Church
Sunday Morning Service-9:00 a.m.
Sunday School-10:15 a.m.
God calls us to be generous givers. The Bible teaches that God has called every believer to give regularly, generously, cheerfully, and in proportion to what he or she has been given by God.
Financial giving supports the ongoing ministry and mission Christ’s church through St. Peter’s in many ways:
Worship every Sunday, on festivals of the church year, and on Wednesdays throughout the Advent and Lenten seasons
Faith formation for youth and adults, music ministry, three youth ministry groups, Vacation Bible School, and camping and retreat ministry
Ministries of outreach including pastoral care, assistance to persons in the community in need, worship services at an area nursing home, and annual camp service weekends
Mission and ministry through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in North America and throughout the world, including the development of new congregations, support for missionaries serving with partner churches, ministry on college campuses, and global relief and development.
Ways to Give
Worship Service Offering
As an act of worship, offerings in the form of cash and checks are received during each worship service.
Electronic Giving
St. Peter’s now offers electronic giving by credit or debit card, with an option for recurring gifts through Tithely – a vendor approved by the ELCA. It is a convenient and simple way to provide support to the ministries of the church. Gifts may be made directly by using the Give button below or download the Mobile App Here.
Financial offerings given by check may be mailed to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1545 E. FM 1961, Goliad, TX, 77963-3414. Please make checks payable to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Memorial and In Honor Gifts
Gifts may be given to St. Peter’s to the glory of God and in honor or in memory of family members and friends.
Planned and Estate Gifts
St. Peter’s Mission Endowment Fund provides a vehicle to facilitate legacy and other planned gifts. The purpose of the endowment fund is to fund mission work at home and around the world, above and beyond the programs supported through regular offerings.
Gifts to the mission endowment fund may be made at any time, either directly by donors during their lifetime or through the donor’s estate. Possible planned gifts include bequests, life insurance, gift annuities, and IRAs and other retirement income.
