Pastor Anne Kolmeier has been pastor of St. Peter’s since September 24, 2017. Raised in Toledo Ohio and a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary Columbus, Ohio, Pastor Anne did her internship at Zion Lutheran, Fredericksburg, Texas, and was ordained in 1985. Before coming to Ander, she served congregations in Dime Box, Woodsboro, Castroville and Elm Creek (Seguin)– all in Texas.

Pastor Anne and her husband Jerry, a native of Fredericksburg, reside in Cuero. Their adult son Stephen lives and works in San Antonio.

“I am a child of God, blessed by his grace and guided by his Spirit, which has led me to rural ministry. My call and my joy is helping people of all ages discover who they are as children of God and what that means for their life.”

Dorothy Bowman

Organist and Choir Director

 

 

Dorothy has been an active member of St. Peter’s since 1980 and serves as both organist and choir director. She and her husband, David, are parents to three grown children and grandparents to eight lively grandchildren. She is a retired nurse.

Bulletins for worship services, newsletters, and documents for various congregational ministries are some of the responsibilities of St. Peter’s secretary. Sandra Post began serving St. Peter's as Office Administrator in January 2021. She and her husband Paul joined St. Peter's in 2013. A retired nurse, she and Paul have three adult children and four grandchildren.

The church custodian makes sure the church building is cleaned inside and out prior to each worship service. He also does maintenance as needed. Jerry Kolmeier has served as St. Peter's custodian since March 2020. - Jerry Kolmeier began serving as the church custodian in 2020. He keeps the church clean, as well as does maintenance jobs as needed.
